Stationary Box and File Folder Album Gift Set

There is a lady that lives in my community that loves the stuff I make and every so often she needs a special gift for someone and she calls on me to make a Personalized File Folder Album for them. She needed an engagement gift (again) but this time she wanted a little extra something so I decided to go with a Stationary set!

I think just about everyone has seen these wonderful sets on Splitcoast and chances are, if you had the inclination, you've probably made one! But I would still like to give credit to the lady whose tutorial I used to make mine! Her name is Jackie Topa and here is her TUTORIAL! I'm not sure if she is the original designer , but she did a fantastic job on here instructions, so thanks Jackie!

I used SU!'s Parisian Breeze Specialty, white textured cs, kraft, chocolate chip, and baja blue papers for the whole project!

Here is the set open. You'll notice the pen is not in there as I ran out of RSVP pens and had to get some last night when I went to town, but wanted to get the pictures taken before I left! The notebook is a mini compostition book from the $ store! I have to credit my friend Becky for that find, and she also has several of these Stationary sets on her blog if you're looking for more inspiration!

Here are the cards I made for the set! There are 6 ~ A2 cards, 4 ~ 3x3 cards, and 4 tags! I don't like to embellish them too much as if they are too bulky they won't fit!

Now onto the Album! I had the idea to use the Once Upon A Time set from SU! and then it occured to me that a Fairy Tale concept for this album would be prett cool!! So you will see by the photos that it is layed out like a story book, including a 'The End' on the very back! I am very happy with the way this turned out...I just hope my customer is as well!!

Here is the cover of the album. I use the Nested File Folder template from Coluzzle! The largest, and second largest files work perfect for this book! The pages are just right for 4x6 photos with a mat and a little stampin'!

The 'story' starts with the traditonal 'Once upon a time' and the flowers bordering are from Thoughts and Prayers. On the next page I used one of the stamps from my very first set of Unity Stamps, I think it's called Together In Unity? It's the set with the really cool tree anyway!

My customer gave two different scriptures from the bible that she wanted included in the album!! They are PERFECT for this! The other scripture is below a few photos!

Here is the last page using '...and they lived happily ever after...' with another spot for a photo. And then I had to put 'The End' on the very back!

Now, as far as putting this album together goes, I simply folded the folders in half and used my Crop-a-dile to punch 3 holes for the 'binding'. I used hemp to tie it together, and I also ran some ribbon through the center (see photo of middle pages) just to fortify the book a bit more in case the twine rips through the holes. There are 12 pages as well as the cover.

Here is a list of the supplies I used:

Stamps: Upsy Daisy, Thoughts and Prayers, Once Upon A Time, God's Beauty (cover butterfly), Unity Stamps

Paper : Parisian Breeze Specialty, baja breeze, chocolate chip, kraft

Ink: Bayou Blue, craft ch chip, caramel

Accessories: Clear ep, hemp twine, ribbon, nesties, coluzzle, nested file folder coluzz;e template, scor-pal, punches, mini composition album, RSVP pen, pearls, eyelets, velcro

I think that's it! I would love to hear what you think so please leave me a comment and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks for stoppin' by for some Stamps 'n' Coffee!
