Stampalicious Monday and a Tribute to Her Royal Highness!

I love Mondays!!! Not the having to get up and the kids off to school part...but the time I have to play in my craft room after wards!!!
I had several good reasons to make a card or two today...the FIRST being that it is Stampalicious Monday and we have a FABULOUS color challenge going on over at the TS Blog as well as the upcoming Blog Hop!!

SECONDLY, and more importantly, our DT Member Sue Titolo aka Coffeestamper was chosen to be the Queen For The Day! Check it out, along with Sue's AWESOME gallery here!!

Here is the FIRST card I made using this card here!

I just had to use Coffee Brawd as I believe she is a little like our Sue...so I figured this would be a good way to pay tribute!!! The colors of course are inspired by the Stampalicious Monday Challenge!! (Thanks Vicki!!)

I also found this gorgeous creation in her gallery and absolutely HAD to CASE it as well!! I changed the stamps but used the same set and I also used blues instead of greens! My butterfly is a little different as well...but other than that it's very much like Sue's masterpiece!

Congratulations Sue!!
You deserve this wonderful honor!! Enjoy your Reigning Week as Queen!!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by for a visit!!!

OCC - Butterflies Flutter By!

I was very excited when I saw Dana's (Dana's Dabbling Studio) challenge for Our Creative Corner this week...to use BUTTERFLIES on our project!!

I just recently bought the Butterfly Embosslit from the SU! Mini Catalogue and I absolutely LOVE it...AND it's perffect for Dana's challenge!!!!!

I decided to keep this simple and go with a 'silhouette' motif! I really like how this turned out!!

I used Kraft and Black...easy-peezy-lemon squeezy!! Now that I'm looking at it though, I think I should have used some bling or pearls down the large Butterfly's center!! Oh well...next time!! LOL!!

Feel free to play along...just post your creation back at the OCC Blog and if you upload to SCS use keyword OCCC!!
Thanks so much for stoppin' by for a visit with me!!! Have a fabulous weekend!!

C4C32 - 1-2-3 Anya!

It's time for another CRAZY Saturday and this week, our fabulous hostess Lynda Benden - Stamps Act, has challenged us to something as EASY as 1-2-3!!!

SO what does that mean?!
Create a card or project using the following:
1 Ribbon
2 Buttons OR Brads
3 Punches

And we have another AWESOME sponsor this week!! (well they sponsored last week too but I wasn't here lol!)

Here is my creation using this beautiful image from the CakeGirl stamps from
The Greeting Farm!!

And here's a close-up of the butterflies!! I just got this embosslits die from SU!! LOVE it!!

The 2 brads are the flower center and the 'body' of the large butterfly! I used two different punches for the flower and I'm hoping my butterfly die will count as a punch as well!!
While I was on holiday's last week, I went and hung out with Cindy H for an afternoon and she taught me how to make all kinds of cool flowers!!! THANKS Cindy!!

I sure hope you'll play along with us...just be sure to post your creation back at the C4C Blog and if you upload to SCS use Keyword C4C32!

Scroll down to find another fun challenge for today!!

OCC Bows - Namastè!

Happy Saturday!! We have another fun challenge going on over at Our Creative Corner!! This week our awesome hostess, Dana Grothaus, has us using bows on our creations!!

We had to say good-bye to two of our OCC designers

Jenny Gropp - One Krafty Kat
and
Silke Ledlow - My Life

I can't tell you what a pleasure it was to work along side these two amazingly talented women!
You will both be missed on this team but I will definitely see you around blog land!

We also have some new designers that joined us last week but I wasn't here to welcome them so I'd like to take the time to do that now!

Diane Gilbert - My Little Stamping Spot

Julie Leblanc - Kewl Stamps-N-More

Sarah Gough - ThINKing Stamps

Such wonderful talent to add to the team!!!!

So now onto my card for today's challenge!!! I just started a Yoga class and had to use my Serenity Now set from MFT Stamps!

I decided to try to create my own Lotus Flower for this card! I used an old flower punch from EK Success that I've had forever!!
I really like how it turned out! After visiting with Cindy Haffner...she taught me how to make different flowers with different punches...I was inspired to make this!
I colored the image with copics and sponged all the edges with Sage ink!

So how's about you pull out your ribbon and play along with us!! Just link you creation back to the OCC Blog and if you upload to SCS use Keyword OCCC!
