Happy Friday! It's the long weekend here in Canada and the official 'kick-off' for the camping season which almost always guarantees bad weather!! Lol!! However the sun is shining beautifully through my window right now!!
A few days ago, Kristi from Hanna Stamps surprised us with some new releases...a Grad Riley, and a Grad Hanna set! Here are a few samples!
This is Anthony...he's actually a pretty staight-laced guy most of the time, but he felt like lettin' loose a little for his Graduation!
(the truth of the matter is I messed up when coloring his face/eyes, so I took the sunglasses from the To The Beach set to cover up my OOPS!)
I colored this with Prismas and baby oil and the sentiment is from SU!
Anthony is also paired with a Graduating Hanna in this set as well as a few awesome accessories and a CONGRATULATIONS sentiment! It's available right now at the Hanna Stamps store!
Here is the new Grad Riley! Isn't he FAB?!?! I used the Mondo Thinker sentiment form the Read My Tee Hanna set! The little diplomas are just rolled up pieces of cardstock tied with ribbon! He is also colored with Prismas and baby oil!
And now for Friday's Hanna Challenge!
Candice has challenged us to make a One Layer Card!! I actually don't mind making these as once you have your idea it 'can' go very quickly!! However the drawback to the one-layer-wonders is there is absolutely ZERO room for error! (there is no way I could've rescued my Grad Anthony had THAT been a one layer card!)
You can find Candice's challenge here!
I used the beautiful bouquet from the Retro release of the Bridal Hanna Set! To create a 'framed border' I simply scored some lines with my Scor-Pal! The image is colored with my SU! Markers, and the ribbon is also from SU!!
Thanks so much for stopping my my blog today! I'll be back again tomorrow with my card for the OCC Challenge!
