Stampalicious Monday Challenge (on Tuesday)

So the challenge this week on the Totally Stampalicious Blog is to try a Technique that you've never done before!! And if that doesn't get your mojo flowin', we'll also be giving a prize
OK! So I go browsing through the Resources at Splitcoast and came across the Explosion Box...something that I've been wanting to try since the first time I ever saw it!! away to one lucky player!!


I'm not crazy about the bow here...I think I should have used a different material!

And here it is open! I figured Birthday Cake Dottie would be perfect for this little project!
I think if I were going to give this to someone I'd have to put something else in it!! I mean, Dottie is really cute and all, but if someone gave ME a little box for my birthday I would at least want some chocolate or something in it!!!

C4C77 Sketch Challenge

Happy Saturday and welcome to another FABULOUS Sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges! It's a new month and that means a new hostess......Silke Ledlow - My Life! Silke is starting us out with a FABULOUS and FUN SKETCH!!

Here is my take on it using the hilariously crabby and sarcastic GUS from the
Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line!
I can relate to Gus...I've been known to crack a cold one in the AM...but ONLY when I'm camping...not really sure why that makes it OK in my world...maybe 'cuz beer tastes even better in the great outdoors!

Those are some awesome SU! Dp's that retired quite awhile ago but I LOVE 'em!! Gus is, of course, colored with Copics!! And check out the Twine I used from The Twinery! How FUN!! I love it when I actually USE some of the stuff that I buy!!! (snicker)

Playing Along In A Few Challenges

I'm having a quiet day at home and thought I would skip over all the 'To Do's' so that I could spend a little fun time in the Craft Cave!
I blog surfed to find a few challenges and found TWO at Inkspirations Challenge Blog! I used this weeks Color Challenge and last weeks Sketch Challenge!

This lil' creation also works for the Totally Stampalicious Blog Challenge which is to use:
1-Ribbon
2-Patterns of paper
3- Embellishments

I used our Bugaboo Cupcake JJ which you can find at the Totally Stampalicious Store!

My daughter has been bugging me to make her a Tissue Box cover to take to school and I finally took the time to get one done for her!! You can find instructions on how to make one of these

I used one of my new Whimsy Stamps from the Kenny K Collection!! Isn't she GORGEOUS!!
This is a bit of a close up of my coloring which clearly still needs some work, but I'm headed to a Copic Certification Class this month and I'm hopin' to learn some of the Mad Skillz that I see out there in Blog Land!

Well that's it for me today!!! I guess now play time is over and I should probably work on that To Do list I spoke of earlier! *sigh*
