Anything But A Card!

It's another happy Monday and this week we have another great challenge going on over at the Totally Stampalicious Blog!!

We are making ANYTHING BUT A CARD! This has always been one of my personal faves as I LOVE to make boxes and bags and other such 3-D projects!!

For this particular challenge I decided to create this little gift box to 'wrap' a wallet that I bought for a very good friend of mine!! Of course I used Scarlette from our Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line because she is just the perfect 'girlfriend' image!! I also LOVE the sentiments that come with this particular stamp set!

To make this gift box, I simpley measured the wallet and added 1" to each side! I then scored in 1" on each side and made the box!

I then took a piece of DP (CTMH's Cherry-Oh) and wrapped around the box. A little ribbon and a fun tag and VOILA!!! My friend enjoyed the 'wrapping' as much as she did the gift!!

Thanks so much for stoppin by today!!
Be sure to head on over to the Totally Stampalicious Blog to see the other fun projects from the team...and maybe even play along with us!!

C4C51 - Lattice!!

Happy Saturday!! We have another fun challenge going on this week over at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog, from our fabulous Hostess and Co-Founder, Frances - Stamp Owl's Studio

Now onto this week's challenge. Lattice .... this week we are going to include lattice in some form on our cards. Here are a few ideas to get you started ... lattice using your circuit machine, dies, embossed lattice using scor-pal; Lattice Punches; Designer paper that has lattice pattern, lattice background stamps or image stamps that include lattice on them; etc.

So here is my creation...I decided to use my scor-pal to create a 'lattice' design...but wouldn't you know it...I just went a bought the coolest new MS Punch yesterday that would have been perfect for this challenge....but, obviously, I already made my card!!! Guess I'll just have to make another!

I saw a great tutorial on how to make this ribbon flower but now I can't remember who did it or where I even found it...please let me know if you know of the clever lady who did the video tutorial for this so I can give credit where it's due!!!

If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C52. Then head on over to the C4C Blog and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

Texture-Licious!

It's time for Stampalicious Monday and this week we're playing with all kinds of different textures!! The challenge is to use at least TWO DIFFERENT textures on your card or project!!

I used 2 different embossing folders as well as some felt on the card below! That's the boy from our Birthday Kids set from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line!
Isn't he SWEET!!!

The felt pieces are from CTMH! I used Saffron, Real Red and Chocolate Chip cardstocks and the iamge is colored with Copics!!

C4C50 - Musically Inspired!

I'm back after having to take last week off due to a very hectic schedule!!! I LOVE summer but I'm looking forward to getting back into the routine that Fall always brings!!

Today Frances Byrne - Stamp Owl's Studio has a very cool challenge for us! Here it is in her words:

When I first started thinking about what to do for the challenges in August, I decided to check out what special days were in August. in researching this online I discovered that the 2nd week of August was Elvis week which coincides with the anniversary of his death on 16th August 1977.

So my challenge for this week is that you need to include music somehow on your card. It could be a music related stamp, designer paper, embossing folders, punches etc..... whatever you wish. Of course if you have Elvis stamps you get double points hehe!

So here's my take on this fun challenge using the cool Motorcycle stamp from SU!
Two of my brothers and my Dad have a birthday this month so I needed something masculine!

We sure hope you'll play along just make sure you head on back over to the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog and link your creation using the Mr.Linky there!!
