C4C89 Summer Sunsets!!

Happy Saturday!!
Joanne - The Inky Ocean Gazer has another FAB idea to get our mojo flowing over at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog!!

Now that the weather is sunny and clear (hopefully), we often start planning vacations. Create a card showing a favorite vacation spot or activity.

Well it doesn't matter where I go or even if I stay home...I always appreciate the beautiful summer sunsets that don't come until 10 or 11 at night!!! LOVE the long days!!! So here is my hommage to summer using one of my very favorite silhouette stamps!!

I stamped my image in craft ink then embossed it on apricot paper! I then used saffron, pumpkin, and rose red inks to sponge in the sunset colors!! I also embossed the butterfly die cut so the texture would match the main image!

My Favorite Bugaboo!

We're having an awesome challenge over at the Totally Stampalicious Blog!!
We want to see YOU FAVORITE BUGABOO!!

I used one of the adorable Angel Bears from Totally Stampalicious! to make this card for a friend of mine that just had an adorable little angel of her own!

I colored the image with Copics (of course!) and used my newest border punch from EK Success...love the big scallops and circles!!

C4C87 Happy Chocolate Chip Day!

Joanne Grzelak who is our challenge hostess this month has another amazing challenge for us all over at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog!

Tomorrow, May 15 is National Chocolate Chip Day!!! Have some image related to ‘chocolate’ on your card/project today. (Eating a chocolate chip cookie during the creative process is optional –but who could pass up a reason to eat a chocolate chip cookie or two??!!!)

So here I used one of my fave sets from MFT! I made the gift box with my Cricut andfilled it will some YUM-O Swiss Chocolate!

C4C86 - May Flowers!

Comin' at ya live from blog land to bring you another card for the Crazy 4 Challenges weekly challenge!!
It's a new month and that means a new Hostess...so let's give a friendly 'Holla' to fellow Crazy, Joanne - The Inky Ocean Gazer!
Joanne wants to take the promise that April Showers Bring May Flowers quite literally and bring in this new month with LOTS OF FLOWERS!!
Well I'm all in for that because I think that may be the only way I'm going to see any flowers for a while!! There are STILL a few, albeit small, patches of SNOW on my lawn!!!!

So here's a little creation using Ava Flowers from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line!

How awesome is that sentiment for all the fabulous Dads out there!?! Now I realize there is flowers, and pink, and bows and other such fripperies on this card, but I'm thinkin' any girls Daddy will be willing to look past all that when he reads that touching sentiment!!
