Hi Friends!! It's been a busy week for me and it was sooo nice to get into my craft room and play!!!! We're also going camping again this weekend so no internet for me!!
It's time for another challenge from the OCC! For this week's challenge, our August host, Loretta Lock, has put together this sketch:
Here is my version of the sketch!
I always need these kinds of cards for my friends...as a cardmaker I really need to start giving away more cards!!! Lol!!
I used the Parisienne Breeze paper from SU!! LOVE this stuff!!!!
We'd love it if you'd play along with us, just make sure you post your creation using Mr Linky on the OCC Blog and use OCCC as your keyword on SCS!!
Thanks for stoppin' by for a little Stamps 'n' Coffee!

College Going Away Gift Set!
A very good friend of mine is going back to college to finish her degree and unfortunately for us (her friends) it means she is moving away!
I decided to use some of the inspirational quotes from Unity Stamp Company as well as the Rockabilly Specialty paper to create her gift set. This is the gift bag that it is all going in! I used the same sketch on the front of the bag as on the card. It is also a CASE of my own creation from an OCC challenge a while back!
Here is a pic of the whole set. The altered paint can is filled with jelly beans and ju jubes AKA 'study snacks'! The sentiment on the little tag on the handle was computer generated.
My sister, another friend and I decided to pool our funds to get Megan some gift certificates to help her out while she's a starving student! I altered Texas Grammy's Photo Wallet to be a Multi-Card Gift Card Holder! There's a brief tutorial with photos a little further down to show you how I did that!
Here's a closer look at the card and the can! I absolutely LOVE these sentiments from Unity...they are perfect for so many occasions!! I dyed the little flowers on the card sentiment with the RHR ink pad.
And here we have the Multi Card GC Holder Open! I used the awesome girls from the Close To My Hear SOTM set to decorate the gc pockets!
To make this multi-card holder using Texas Grammy's photo wallet tutorial follow these easy directions:
Base - Score a 4-1/4 X 12" piece of cardstock at 3-1/4 , 6-5/8 , 9-7/8 and 10".
Flaps - Cut two 3X8 pieces of dp or cs and round the corners (if you'd like). Score at 4".
Gift Card Pockets - Cut 4 pieces of CS 7-1/4 X 3-3/8. Score 1/2" in on each long side and score at 3-5/8 across the short side (or just fold it in half!). Cut off each 1/2 inch flap up to the center score line! (see photo below). You can then use your circle punch to punch out a half-circle if desired. You may also choose to stamp your images, if any, now!
Apply adhesive to the 2 flaps and adhere the pocket together. You can now attach these to the Wallet Flaps.
You could easily make this for SIX gift cards, but I used the third section for our sentiment which I computer generated!
For those of you that are curious as to what GC's we got for her, we opted for $50 VISA card, $50 Multi-Restaraunt Chain card, $25 Movie Theatre card, and $25 Chapters card.
We are sad to be losing our friend to another part of the province but happy and excited that she is taking this step to better her life!! She is sooo smart and will be able to accomplish whatever she chooses!! I hope these gifts help her to remember how much she is adored!! Which reminds me I forgot to make a frame!!! CRAP!! Better go get that done!
Thank you so much for stoppin' by for a little Stamps 'n' Coffee and I would love to hear what you think!

OCC Christmas in August!
Loretta Lock has challenged the OCC to make a Christmas card this week!! I absolutely love this stamp from High Hopes and was thrilled to have the opportunity to use it in the summer months!! As a child I was smart enough to take heed to my parents' warning about sticking your tongue to frozen metal but my brother...not so much!! Lol!! It's funny now, but at the time...ugh!!
I colored these guys with my Copics as well as my SU! markers. I tend to use both as I don't yet have enough colors of copics and the SU! match just so darn well!! The leaves are buttons that I'vve had forever!! After moving into my new space and realizing just how much stuff I actually have, I'm making it a goal to start using it!!!! The papers are from Making Memories - Fa La La line!
Stop by the OCC Blog for all the details and more inspiration from the DT, and thanks to Loretta for another fun challenge!!

A Sad 'So Long'
I have some new and exciting things happening in my life right now, and after discussing it with Kristi, we felt it would be best for me to leave the team! It has been such an amazing experience being part of her team and I am sad to go, but I know that it's for the best right now! I am now, and always will be a friend and a fan of Hanna Stamps!!
Here is a creation I made using three different sets!! The dog is from small breeds, the easel is from the newly released Painter Hanna and the brick wall background is also one of Kristi's latest revelations...how stinkin' cool is that...there's an awesome floor stamp too!!!
The silver hardware says 'GENUINE' on them...very fitting for the 'masterpiece' I thought!! I'm not sure if you can tell in the photo, but the picture is popped up on the easel as well.
Thanks for takin' the time to stop in for a little Stamps 'n' Coffee!! Be sure to stay tuned for some exciting news sometime in the near future!!

OCC Inspiration Challenge!
Happy Saturday!! The amazing Loretta Lock has a gorgeous Inspiration Challenge for us! The artist's name is Lowell Herrero and I was inspired by the colors in this piece! Be sure to check out the OCC Blog for all the details on this challenge!
I pulled out a CTMH set for this challenge...I just love the girls from this set! They are from the May Stamp of The Month called Be Yourself. I stamped them on watercolorpaper and then used my WW Crayons to create the sunset bg! I hadn't planned on adding all the punched flowers but I made a few boo-boos and decided to cover them up rather than start all over again!! It's a little over the top I think but there you have it!! Lol!!
Thanks for taking the time to stop in!! Have a fantastic weekend!!

Teenage Boy Birthday Card GC Holder!
Happy 13th Birthday to Vicki's son, Jon, today!!! Vicki is also hosting the Hanna Stamps Friday Challenge and in honor of Jon's B-Day, she has challenged us to make a Teenage Boy B-Day card!
I let my 14 yo nephew inspire this one!! He is such a cool kid and into so many different things, but I thought that if I was going to get him a gift it would likely be a gift card from Best Buy or something like that so I went with a computer theme!
The mouse is from Cyber Hanna and the papers are SU!s To The Nines Specialty! I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from Birthday Whimsy.
I used the gc tutorial from TLC 165!
Thanks for taking the time to stop in!! Have a great weekend and don't forget to come by tomorrow to see what the OCC are up to!!

The New Set Challenge!
Every month at the Release Party, the Hanna Stamps team host a New Set Challenge! Here's how it works! The first thing you need to do is head on over the Hanna Stamps and purchase the brand spankin' new Painter Hanna Set! (if you haven't already!!) Then once you receive it you do the challenge which you can find right HERE! A winner will be selected before the next release party and that winner gets to select TWO sets of their choice from the new releases!! Pretty cool huh?
So here is my take on Frances' awesome challenge!!
I colored her with prismas and baby oil which I normally like the results I get from this particular medium!! But today I lost my mind! I stamped her on Neenah Solar Crest paper instead of Prism Ultra Smooth (I think that's what it's called) and so made blending very difficult!! I decided to keep her anyway as she is just too darn pretty to toss aside!!
The words are from CTMH and the papers are SU!s Slumber Party, saffron, and black!

OCC COlor Challenge - Shades of Purple
The amazingly talented Loretta Lock has challenged the OCC to a color challenge using shades of purple!
I recieved this new stamp set from SU! recently and couldn't wait to ink it up. I don't have many purple inks so decided to emboss with clear ep instead. I used Pale Plum and the new Rich Razzleberry. The dp is a scrap I took from my scrap basket.
We would love for you to play along with us so make sure you post a link to your creation on the OCC Blog and if you upload to SCS use keyword OCCC.
