The Greeting Farm

Here is my version of today's sketch! I used this gorgeous Kitty Cat ...a new release from Totally Stampalicious!

I colored her with Copics and used some CTMH patterned paper to dress her up and accessorize her!! I just love this sentiment...so SASSY!!!

2 - We are still offering the FREE Digi with the purchase of a stamp set

For those of you that are still on the fence about digis (I still am in some ways...I like to have stamps IN my hands!!!)...here is an example of one of the things you can do with a Digi Image!

Using Microsoft Word (or whatever software you're comforatable with) I shrunk Road Hawg down small enough to fit on the cover of this tiny Lip Balm Container (scroll down for more info on that). I printed him, along with the words, onto adhesive-backed label paper and punched it out with my circle punch!

As some of you may know, one of the best things about being on a motorcycle is feeling the wind in your face!! That sort of freedom comes with the cost of chapped lips (and cheeks too, but we're here to talk about the lips!!) I have several friends that are pretty serious about riding and I thought these would make a great gift for them!

This one here is for my pal, Monique (For the Love Of Paper)! She is a very talented crafter
as well so I wanted to make it 'SNAZZY'!!

I used the Peek-A-Boo Box from the SCS Tutorial which you can find here! It fits these little Lip Balms PERFECTLY!!

Here is the complete set with the card I made using Crafty Taglines from There She Goes!

Now onto the Lip Balm! I bought the Lip Balm Kit from My Favorite Things! There is a recipe you can get right on the site, however, I found it to be VERY waxy. I ended up adding more coconut oil, some olive oil, and shea butter to the recipe to get to a texture I was happy with!! I ended up with way more balm than I had containers for as well, of course, but I had several extra brad containers from CTMH, and although smaller, they worked very well.

This also qualifies for the 3-D Challenge over at Our Creative Corner!!

Well thanks so much for stoppin' in and don't forget to check out the sale at Totally Stampalicious!

C4C19 - Lori's Birthday Challenge!

Hello Stamper Friends!! After a wee break from my craft room, I am happy to be back and creating!!
The amazing Lori Boyd has another great challenge for us today! In celebration of her special day, Lori has us making Birthday cards over at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog!

We'd love it if you could play along!! Just post your creation using Mr. Linky back at the C4C Blog and if you upload to SCS use Keyword C4C19

Our Sponsor for today (and last week) is Innovative Stamp Creations! If you haven't checked out their stamps before, please take a moment now...I promise you won't be disappointed!! Their stamps are high quality rubber and they are available in very affordable sheets!! (one of my fave ways to buy stamps as you get so much bang for your buck!)

The images on my creation are from Innovative Stamp Creations...aren't they BEAUTIFUL!!

These images are from the Minibook Series... I just love the clock and the flourish that I stamped behind it!!!

I used the swiss dot Cuttlebug folder on the two strips of burgandy in tribute to Lori's Polka Dot challenge that I missed, from last week!! The edges are sponged in caramel and then again with burgandy!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by for a peek at my card and don't forget to scroll down for another fun challenge!!

OCC- 3-D Challenge

Welcome to another challenge from Our Creative Corner! I am honored to be the hostess for the month of January...even though I missed out on playing in the first week due to an extended stay at my sister's! Anyway I'm here now and today's challenge was just what I needed to get back into the swing of crafting!!

My challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to make a 3-D project!! Anything goes...whether you make some sort of a box, alter an item...whatever!!! Just have fun!!

Please be sure to post your creation back at Our Creative Corner using Mr.Linky and if you upload to SCS use Keyword OCCC!

Here is my 3-D Project

I made a Chinese Take-Out box using a Coluzzle template. (yes I still use that very old fashioned tool and I LOVE it!!!) I filled the box with Hersheys Hugs and Kisses and made a little 3x3 card to go along with it!! One of my kids will get this for Valentines day!

The stamps are from Close To My Heart and the papers are from SU!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop in and I hope you'll play along with us!!

Stampalicious Monday New Year Sketch Challenge

Happy New Year friends!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays...I know I did!! I took a little time away from stamping to really focus on time with my family and some relaxation!

I am happy to be back to a normal schedule and making time for my passion!! My first task was to come up with a challenge for Stampalicious Monday!! I thought it would be fun to ring in the New Year with a Sketch!!

Check it out!
Please feel free to play along! Just post your creation on the Totally Stampalicious Blog using Mr. Linky! If you upload to SCS use Keyword TSMONDAY11!
We also have all kinds of other stuff going on this month, including a New Release, so be sure to check back often!!!

Here's my take on the sketch...as you can see, it's perfectly acceptable to change out the hearts and circle for whatever shape you'd like!!

I used our Rockin' Frawg on this creation!! I colored him and his guitar with Copics and then I covered it with Dazzling Diamonds. The dp is from SU! (retired I believe).

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!
