C4C30 - Sketch With Pippin!

Happy Saturday!!! I'm on vacation at my parents in Saskatchewan right now with my family, but was actually organized enough to get this post done BEFORE I left! However...this will probably be it until I get home next weekend!

Before we get onto today's challenge, I just wanted to update you on some changes that are happening with the C4C design team. Jessica Diedrich and Robin Willis have both bade farewell to us due to other commitments. While we are sad to have them go, we understand and wish them both all the best.

This week also the sees the start of a brand new Design Team member Silke Kittmann. Welcome to the team Silke!

Our sponsor again this week is:

Digital Delights by Louby Loo

And here is our AWESOME sketch from the Fabulous Barbara Anders!

If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C30. Don't forget to head back to the C4C Blog and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

Digital Delights were kind enough to send us all an image to play with...I couldn't resist the sweet lil' Cappacino Pippin!!

I colored Pippin up with some Copics and used some liquid applique in his cappacino! The paper is from Pink Paislee!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in! Please scroll down to find another fun challenge for today!

OCC - March Sketch Challenge

Silke Ledlow has another fantastic challenge for this week over at Our Creative Corner!! Check out this awesome sketch:

I decided to use this June Ruby image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps!! You see...she kind of reminds me of what I might look like about a month from now!! My 'husband' and I are FINALLY, after 10 years, 2 children, and a couple of houses, going to Vegas to make it official!

Doesn't she look like a Vegas bride all decked out in her shades?!

She's such a sassy lookin' lady I figured she needed a sassy sentiment so I thought this one up myself...not that I actually feel that way though!! ;-D

Both of those polka dot papers are from SU!

We hope you'll paly along with us over at Our Creative Corner and be sure to leave a link to your creation using Mr.Linky on the OCC Blog! If you upload to SCS or any other on-line gallery use Keyword OCCC!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!

Digital Delights by Louby Loo

Be sure to play along with us for your chance to win the wonderful Prize that Louby Loo has for us!!! Stay tuned next week to see the AWESOME image they gave me to use...he's absolutely ADORABLE!!!

For this week, I needed a 'Spring-y' image and I just recieved this fun set from CTMH! It's called Love You Forever...based on the best Children's book EVER, by Robert Munsch! LOVE this one...I even have TWO copies of it! (one hard cover that is put away and one that the kids and I read together!)

I paper pieced the entire image. Most of the papers are from the Pad that was in SU! S-A-B catalogue!! I used a marker for all the 'stitching!!

The inside of this has the sentiment
"I'll love you forver,
I'll like you for always,
as long as I'm living
my baby you'll be!"

Be sure to play along and leave a link at the C4C Blog and if you upload to any on-line galleries use Keyword C4C29!

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to scroll down for another FUN challenge!!

OCC Easter Project!

I created this fun project for today's challenge over at Our Creative Corner!! This week, our fabulous hostess Silke Ledlow, has creating a card or project for Easter!!

I used my free Digi Image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps!! Jodie was giving this one a way a few weeks ago...isn't it adorable!!? The fun little container is Q Bee's Flower Bot Box! I filled it with some paper shred and chocolate eggs! I printed out a smaller version of the little chick to put on the Happy Easter stick!

Feel free to play along with us and be sure to you link your Easter creation to the OCC Blog with Mr. Linky! Use Keyword OCCC when uploading to any On Line galleries!

C4C28 - King Of The Grill!

Our CRAZY Hostess this week, Barbara - Paper Pursuits, has challenged us to make a Masculine Card!!! I can always use more guy cards in my stash...and Father's Day isn't really that far away so I was glad to have a good excuse to make a 'man' card!!

If you'd like to join us this week please leave a link to your card over at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog using Mr.Linky and if you upload to SCS used Keyword C4C28!

I decided to pull out my BBQ Riley for my Guy Card!

I colored him up with some Copics! The sentiment is computer generated and the crown is chipboard that I embossed with some gold ep!! That brown gingham dp is from Pink Paislee...LOVE their new paper line!!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and if you're up for another challenge today, scroll down to see what the OCC is up to!!

OCC Color Challenge - COffee Brawd!

Our OCC Hostess, Silke Ledlow has come up with this FABULOUS color combo for us all to play with this week!!

I think Silke has a Mystery Prize up for grabs this week as well...so be sure to play along and leave a link to your card or project on the Our Creative Corner Blog using Mr.Linky!

Here is my take on the colors! I used the Brand New Coffee Brawd from
Totally Stampalicious!

I used some textured paper from Bazzill Basics to mimic the dp! (which I have had in my stash for YEARS!!!) I used it to paper piece her robe as well and it kind of gave it a 'terry cloth' look!! The flowers and leaves were die cut from my Sizzix Sizzlets!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by!!

Coffee Shop Blog Hop Stop #9

So how are you enjoying our first EVER Blog Hop so far?
You should have arrived here from Patrica's Blog - Stamping With Kokirose, but if you didn't, just head on over to the First Stop at the Totally Stampalicious Blog so you don't miss any of the fun OR opportunities to win some of the great prizes being offered!

So without further ado, here is my Coffee Shop project! I gotta tell ya that I think Coffee Brawd is OFFICIALLY my personal favorite Stampalicious Stamp set! Now I know I've said that before but I'm sure you can guess why she holds a special place in my heart!!

Here is a pic of the whole set!
I was inspired by the Pink Paislee paper and burlap for this creation!

Here is the card! I pieced her robe and colored her with Copics!! The sentiment reads:

"You haven't had enough coffee
until you can thread a
sewing machine while it's running!
"

I giggle everytime I read this!!!

And here is my burlap sac full of Cafe Mocha! I bought the mix at the grocery store but thought I could do a better job of the packaging in this fun sac that I bought from There She Goes a few years back!! I used the Digi images to create the tag.
Don't forget that when you buy the stamp set from Totally Stampalicious you get the Digi for FREE!!!

And here is the box I created to hold a couple of boxes of Crackheads that I bought from a local coffeeshop! These are dark and white chocolate covered coffee beans!!! YUM!!! Again, the tag is done using the Digi Images!

Well it's time to head on over to the next stop of the Coffee Shop Blog Hop!!
Ms. Vicki Garrett - Summerthyme Studio!!!
I'm sure she has some amazing eye candy to share with you...PLUS you get to see her UBER COOL blog design!!!

Now here's a list of the whole hop just in case you get lost or there are any glitches along the way!

C4C27 - Paper PieRcing!

Our fabulous CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES March Hostess, Barb Anders -Paper Pursuits has challenged us to use a little paper PieRcing on our creations...not piecing....PieRcing!! Apparently the similarities in spelling between these two techniques have been known to cause a little confusion!! So...just to be clear... pieRcing!!

Look at this DELICIOUS Picnic Basket from DRS Designs!! They are our sponsor for the next two weeks...and this week they are offering up a $15 Gift Certificate to one lucky player!!
They have some really great images and sentiments so be sure to check them out!!

Here is my creation!

I used some polka-dotted fabric I've had laying around and ripped it into strips to use as ribbon. The fabric brads are a dollar store find!! I colored the image with Copics and used my SU! Mat Stack to do the PieRcing!!

So how's about you play along with all of us Crazies and live a link to your creation over at the C4C Blog! If you upload to SCS use Keyword C4C27!

Now if you scroll down to find the Sketch Challenge from the OCC, you would think that I created this card following that sketch...ironically, I hadn't even looked at the sketch....weird huh?!

Framed and Funny!

A very good friend of mine is a librarian and she though this character and sentiment were pretty hilarious so I decided to put it in a frame for her!

The image and saying are Digis from Bugaboo Stamps!! LOVE this ladies stuff...from funny to cute...she's got it all!!

Here is a close up of the image!

I used copice to colr her and my glitter pen on her hair!! The frame (Michaels) is painted with acrylic paint and I used Mod Podge to glue the papers down ! MME, Not Quite Navy and Orchid Opulence!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today!
