C4C60 - Spooooky Halloweeeeen.....

Welcome to another Crazy 4 Challenges Saturday!!
This week, our hostess with the mostest, Silke Ledlow, has us celebrating HALLOWEEN!!! Our challenge is to make any card or project with a Halloween theme!!

I pulled out one of my ALL TIME fave Halloween sets from SU!
I'm not really sure, but I think this might be the first time I've inked up this particular stamp and I LOVE it!

I have to say I'm pretty happy with how this card turned out...I hope you like it too!

I stamped and heat embossed both the tree and the jack-o-lantern on Daffodil paper and then sponged all the edges with Pumpkin Pie ink.

Naughty Boy List

So I just found the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog and thought what a great idea...I just wish I had found it sooner...I'd be done all my Christmas cards already...or more of them anyway!!
Anyhoo...they have a Sketch Challenge going on this week...as well as needing THREE 'Vs' on your card!!
OK....well I got the sketch down no problem! As for the 3 'Vs'...well let's see..
1)It is Virescent (greenish in color)
2)Vertical sketch
and 3) VERY funny?!

Hopefully it qualifies...LOL!!

I really do find this sentiment very funny...I hope you do too!! I know I have a couple of girlfriends that would get a kick out of this card for sure!!

CASEing the Stampalicious DT!

Well I had way too much fun playing in my craft room yesterday!!! We are having a really fun challenge over at the Totally Stampalicious Blog, including a really fun PRIZE!!

The challenge is to CASE (or copy) one of the Stampalicious DT's designs!!

I couldn't decide on just one, (in fact, if I had time I would have CASE'd the whole team) so I picked THREE!!

I missed a layer here, but I think I captured her CAS style and I absolutely loved the textured bg!!

C4C59 Celebrate Autumn

It's another beautiful October Saturday and this week, fellow Crazy, Silke Ledlow, has us creating cards to celebrate AUTUMN/FALL!

I started out this little creation with the awesome tree from Thoughts and Prayers...and then without thinking, I turned it into a Sympathy card...not exactly what I originally had in mind for this challenge! LOL!!
Ah well...the tree definitely has an Autumn-ish look to it!!

Well here's my sample for this week....love these colors...love these stamps....not so crazy about this card!! LOL!!! It just didn't come together the way I imagined it in my mind! I think it's the weird ribbon doo-dad that's throwing me off!! Oh well...maybe I'll do better next week!!

I'm pretty happy with that flower though! I stamped it out twice on saffron, pumpkin, and wasabi then cut everything out!!! It really pops IRL!!
