C4C56 BLING!!!

Well this is my last week of hosting for the Crazy 4 Challenges so I wanted to finish off with a BLING!! Haha...get it...a BLING?!! *roll eyes* I know...it's a lame but it was the best I could come up with!!

So anyway...the challenge is to pull out your diamonds, pearls, glitter and glitz and show us whatchya got!

So here's my sample...I used a TON of blong on this baby!!! And sure...it looks simple...just plop on one of those fancy stickers, right?! HA!! It took me longer to place those things than it would of to start from scratch!!! LOL!!! If there is some trick to transferring these things PLEASE let me know!!! LOL!!

I hAM So Grateful!

I had some spare time this morning, so what better place to spend it than in my craft room!!? I checked out a few of my fave challenges and decided to play along in them!

and the Ways TO Use It Challenge on SCS is to create a Holiday card!

I used Farmer Hawg from Totally Stampalicious...I just LOVE all the different sentiments that come with this set!!

This is my first card using Cajun Craze...I think I kinda like it!!! The dp is some old retired SU! It's actually got Really Rust in it but it's close enough for me!! LOL!

So last week I played in a new Challenge Blog called 4 Crafty Chicks!! I went over there this morning to check out their latest challenge, which, BTW, is Dry or Heat Embossing, and I saw my card entry listed as a Golden Egg Award winner!!!

3 Ribbon Tag - Snow Happens!

Well I woke up to fluffy white flakes falling from the sky this morning, and although it's a little early in the year for SNOW, I decided to make the best of it by spending some time in my craft room!!!
I made this for the Totally Stampalicious Monday Challenge - Use 3 Ribbons and also today's Technique Lover's Challenge over on Splitcoast! - to make a tag!

I decided to use one of our new Angel Bears from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line and the sentiment is from our Snowman Set!

I finally had the chance to play with some of my new punches including SU!s new decorative label punch!! The Bear panel was punched with their new 2-1/2" circle punch!!

Today is particularly special for me because exactly 8 years ago my life was forever changed by the arrival of my beautiful baby girl!! We are celebrating her special day with a shopping trip to West Edmonton Mall with a few of her friends!! I love celebrating my kids' birthdays with a bang as those days are the most important dates of my life...as I'm sure every parent knows!!!

I made this one using our Chef Pierre!! I thought it would be great for marking recipes in my fave cook book!!

Those paper flowers are from CTMH...so fun!!! I used the Two Tags die to make the actual bookmark!!

C4C54 Kraft Black and Red!!

Hello and Happy Saturday!
Check out the cool color challenge we have goin' on over at the Crazy for Challenges Blog!

Here's a card I made using this beautiful new stamp set from SU!! I decided to focus on the Kraft and Black with just a splash of Red!
You'll notice the lattice punch I used that I bought for Frances's Lattice challenge AFTER I had already done my card for it!! LOL!

And I decided to make another creation with all the same papers being that they were spread all over my desk anyway!! This is a Post-It note pad book! I simply measured and cut the paper to fit the note pad!
I used the brand new release, Shopping Cart Stella, from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line!
This will sit by the phone in my kitchen...perfect to keep handy to write notes for the bus driver, teachers and such!!

So here is my creation using our Breast Cancer Stella! I just love this set for so many reasons! First being that I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine and if you can make someone that is fighting this terrible disease, smile, or better yet, GIGGLE, then you have already helped to heal her soul!

I created a very LARGE Support Ribbon and added the fun image to the center! I can promise you that I will actually wear this ribbon when I go to see the 'Boob Tour' (a play put on in support of Breast Cancer Research)!

The ribbon was kinda floppy so I 'mod podged' it to stiffen it!!

C4C53 All About Books!

Well hello Crazy Fans!!! It's Saturday and that means another challenge over at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog and it's anew month so that means a new Hostess!!! As it happens, the hostess this month is yours truly....ME!!!
The beginning of September is always all about Back To School, so I thought it would be fun to have a challenge All About Books!! ANYTHING Book related works!!

I decided to make a bookmark for both of my kiddoes to take to school!!! IT also gave me the opportunity to ink up the fun Back To School set from SU!s last mini!

I laminated these after they were all done...but wouldn't you know it...if you laminate those embossed labels the heat makes them completely DISAPPEAR!!!!! LOL!!! It makes sense now that I think about it but it didn't even occur to me while I was making them!!! Needless to say, I re-made the labels and places them ON TOP of the laminated bookmarks!!
Live learn!! LOL!
